What to expect on the day
Your emergency appointment will begin with a discussion about your symptoms and medical history, followed by a targeted dental examination. We'll diagnose the issue and provide treatment options along with associated costs.
Should you opt for treatment, we will do our level best to arrange immediate care - whether that's pain relief, draining an infection, stabilising a broken tooth, or even a dental extraction. We will end by making a plan for follow-up treatment.
You'll leave the appointment with a clear understanding of your condition and your options - and, most importantly, relief from the pain or worry you arrived with
π¬ Warm Welcome & Listening to Your Concerns
When you arrive, our friendly dental team will ask about what you're experiencing - whether it's pain, swelling, bleeding, or a broken tooth. Our first priority is to listen carefully and help you feel safe and supported.
π¦· Comfort-Focused Examination
The dentist will take a gentle look in your mouth and may take X-rays if needed, just to get a clear picture of what's going on. They'll do everything they can to minimise discomfort during this process.
β€οΈ Understanding What's Happening
Once we understand the issue, we will explain it to you in clear, simple terms - whether it's a tooth infection, an injury, or something else. You'll have a chance to ask questions, and we will guide you through your options with compassion.
π©Ί Immediate Relief & Care
If you opt for treatment, the main goal is to ease your pain and stop anything that's urgent:
You might receive a numbing treatment, pain relievers, or antibiotics if there's an infection.
If a tooth is broken or missing, we can protect or stabilise it.
In more serious cases, they may gently remove a damaged tooth or drain an infection to prevent it from spreading.
We will move at a pace that's comfortable for you, checking in often to make sure you're okay.
π Support After the Appointment
Before you leave, you'll get clear instructions on how to care for yourself at home, and we'll help you schedule a follow-up visit if more treatment is needed. You'll never be left wondering what comes next - We'll walk with you every step of the way.
If you're going through a dental emergency, know that these appointments are designed to bring quick relief and comfort - and the team's priority is always to help you feel better, both physically and emotionally
